Update in Road Design Manual Chapter 11 - Drainage Design
Pages 11-38 to 11-40: Discussions on multiple pipe spacing was changed to reflect changes in Table 11-5 and added requirements when using controlled density fill between metal pipe. Table 11-5 was split into separate tables A & B for concrete and metal pipe with multiple pipe spacing provided for all pipe end sections available from standard plates. The quantity and pipe spacing with controlled density fill was added to the table. Spacing for CMP with controlled density fill was provided. The spacing with controlled density fill was reduced to 0' between pipe end sections for end sections that flare. Figure 11-11 was changed to show general controlled density fill limits between multiple pipe.
