Section B - Grading standard notes have been updated.
On sheet B2, GRADING OPERATIONS note, removed the informational paragraph and note paragraph regarding water source. The WATER SOURCE note is a separate revised note on sheet B4.
On sheet B2, a new standard note for RESTRICTED WORK AREA was added.
On sheet B3, TYPE II or III FIELD LABORATORY note, added additional version of note used for some Area Offices. The additional version of the note includes information regarding internet connection such as DSL, cable modem, or other approved service.
On Sheet B4, A new note for WATER SOURCE was added and informational text regarding use of the note was also added.
On Sheet B5, in the WORK AFFECTING WATERWAYS, C. CONSTRUCTION PRACTICES FOR STREAMS INHABITED BY TOPEKA SHINER note, these sentences were removed from the 1st paragraph: "This project shall be built in accordance with the terms and conditions of the "Biological Opinion for the Stream Crossing Projects" issued by the USFWS on April 28, 2004. This document is available at the following DOT website: http://www.sddot.com/pe/projdev/docs/FHWABOFINAL.pdf".
On Sheet B8, in the TABLE OF EXCAVATION QUANTITIES BY BALANCES, a column for WASTE was inserted between the OUT-OF-BALANCE EXC. Column and the DEAD HAUL column.
On Sheet B15, in the PLUG WELL note, included sentence regarding the need for a South Dakota licensed water well driller.
On Sheet B16, in the STORM SEWER note, the paragraph "If watertight joints are not required, then the joints shall conform to the requirements of ASTM C990 or ASTM C443." was removed as it was not necessary.
On Sheet B20, the tables for the Detectable Warnings products were replaced as there were printing problems occurring with the tables.
