Section D - Erosion Control standard notes have been updated.
On Sheet D2 a new note for REMOVE AND REPLACE TOPSOIL was added. This note would be used for resurfacing projects.
On Sheet D3, in the PERMANENT SEEDING note, the informational yellow highlighted text for the Type D Permanent Seed Mixture was replaced with "The following turfgrass seed mixture was chosen for seeding boulevards on urban projects. There are many species and varieties of turfgrass to choose from depending on the location of the project and site conditions. In many cases a Special Seed Mixture may work better than the Type D Permanent Seed Mixture. A good resource for putting together a turfgrass seed mixture is the Extension Turf/Lawn Specialist at South Dakota State University".
On Sheet D5, in the FIBER MULCHING note, the manufacturer information was updated for the EcoFibre Plus Tackifier product.
On Sheet D5, the SOIL STABILIZER note was replaced with a new note.
On Sheet D6, a new note for WATER SOURCE was added and informational text regarding use of the note was also added.
On Sheet D9, in the SEDIMENT CONTROL AT INLETS WITH FRAMES AND GRATES note, the DIP Basket and associated Manufacturer information was added to the approved product list.
On Sheet D10, in the STABILIZED CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCE note, the first paragraph was changed to "The Contractor shall install a Construction Entrance as shown on the Construction Entrance detail at locations where a potential for mud tracking and sediment flow from construction sites and work areas to paved public roadways exist.".
On Sheet D10, in the PIT RUN MATERIAL FOR CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCE note, the compaction requirements were modified. The pit run material for the construction entrance shall be compacted to the satisfaction of the Engineer.
On Sheet D12, in the SWPPP, the information in the Spill Notification section was modified.
