SDDOT / Road Design / What's New 6/8/2009 Update in Road Design Manual Chapter 18 - Plans Assembly 1) Figure 18-B5 Typical Grading Sections has been amended to show taper of topsoil in the surfacing section 2) Figure 18-B10 Retain notes have been changed to Color 10, notes aligned, and location of Fence Notes and Drainage Arrows has been reversed. 3) Figure 18-B11 Retain notes have been changed to color 10, and Stream Crossing has been added at 268+ R 4) Figure 18-B24 ROW Layout has been amended to show existing ROW with dimension arrows. 5) Figure 18-B27 is the new detail sheet for Joint Trench Layout.
