2009 Work
- Construct median crossovers and temporary ramps at Exit 30 off and on ramp locations.
- Reconstruct I-90 Eastbound lanes from west of Exit 32 to the Lawrence County line
- Structure improvements:
- EB structure at Bear Butte Creek
- Construct new approach and sleeper slabs, and apply an epoxy chip seal to the existing bridge deck surface
- EB structure at Exit 30 over Hwy 14A
- Construct new approach and sleeper slabs and install a nonmetallic fiber reinforced concrete overlay on the bridge deck surface.
- EB structure of the DM & E Railroad
- Construct new approach and sleeper slabs, repaint the bridge girders, and install a low slump dense concrete overlay on the bridge deck surface
- EB structure over County Road
- Remove the existing rubberized asphalt chip seal from the bridge deck surface and apply an epoxy chip seal.
- Construct median crossovers and upgrade detour route surfacing in preparation for the 2010 project work
2010 Work
- Reconstruct I-90 Westbound lanes from west of Exit 32 to the Lawrence County line
- Structure improvements:
- WB structure at Bear Butte Creek
- Construct new approach and sleeper slabs, and apply an epoxy chip seal to the existing bridge deck surface
- WB structure at Exit 30 over Hwy 14A
- Widen the structure, construct new approach and sleeper slabs, and install a nonmetallic fiber reinforced concrete overlay on the bridge deck surface.
- WB structure of the DM & E Railroad
- Construct new approach and sleeper slabs, repaint the bridge girders, and install a low slump dense concrete overlay on the bridge deck surface
- WB structure over County Road
- Remove the existing rubberized asphalt chip seal from the bridge deck surface and apply an epoxy chip seal.
- Remove median crossovers
- Permanent pavement markings, guardrail, and signing.
