Phase 1 – Starts March 5, 2007

Phase 2 of exit 61 was completed 21 days ahead of schedule. Westbound lanes have been completed and traffic has been restored on new concrete paving. 4 lanes of traffic are open - 2 lanes west bound and 2 east bound. The bridge has been completely decked and all resteal has been layed and tied. Bridge construction will continue after the Sturgis Motorcycle rally.
No work impacting traffic during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally – August 2, 2007 to August 12, 2007.
Phase 3
- Traffic will be head to head on I-90 westbound lanes
- Eastbound lanes of I-90 are to be completed
- MSE wall work continues
- Bridge work continues
Phase 4 – Interim completion date of November 15, 2007
- Traffic will be head to head on I-90
- MSE wall work continues
- Bridge work continues
Phase 5 – Overall completion date of July 25, 2008
- Lane closures on Elk Vale Road
- MSE wall work completed
- Bridge work completed
- Elk Vale Road work completed
