SDDOT / Aeronautics / Airport Information / Flight Aids / Flight Service and Air Traffic Control EMERGENCY FREQUENCY - 121.5 MHz [Monitored by all facilities] Flight Service Stations (FSS's) provide pilot briefings, flight plan processing, en route radio communications, search and rescue services, and assistance to lost aircraft and aircraft in emergency situations. FSS's also relay ATC clearances, process Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs), and broadcast aviation weather and aeronautical information.
