Skip was born in Yankton, SD on May 31, 1947. He is a 1965 graduate of Yankton High School, a 1969 graduate of USD with a degree in Business Administration, and a 1973 graduate of USD with a Juris Doctorate degree. Skip is President/CEO of VanDerhule M/S Inc., whose primary business consists of transportation contracts with the US Postal Service, operating in six states. Skip and his wife have two grown children. Skip obtained his pilot's license in 1968. He currently owns a Mooney M-20-F. He is a member of Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), South Dakota Pilots Association (SDPA), MAPA (Mooney Aircraft Pilots Association), and the Yankton Regional Aviation Association.

Larry was raised in Murdo, South Dakota and graduated from Murdo High School in 1952. He attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Larry has been a business man in Murdo, Pierre and Rapid City, SD. Presently he resides in Rapid City, SD. Larry started flying in 1958 and currently flies a Piper 260 Comanche. He is a member of Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), International Comanche Society (ICS), and the South Dakota Pilots Association (SDPA).

Buron Lindbloom was born in Pierre, SD on April 28, 1930. He graduated from Pierre High School in 1948, the University of South Dakota (BSM) in 1953 and from Indiana University (MD) in 1955. Following internship and residency he returned to Pierre in 1957 and joined the Medical Associates Clinic as a family doctor. He retired in July of 2003. Dr. Lindbloom currently is the medical consultant at the South Dakota Women's Prison and the Family Planning Clinic in Pierre. He is a pilot and a member of Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association , and the South Dakota Pilots Association (SDPA).

Jack was born in Lincoln Park, Michigan on June 29, 1931. He was raised and attended schools in Waterman (Dekalb Co.) Illinois. Jack served in the USAF from 1950-1954 as an Air Traffic Controller and graduated from the FAA Air Traffic School in Oklahoma City in 1955. Jack served at Chicago Midway Tower, Flight Service Station (FSS) and retired as Manager of the Pierre FSS in 1988. Jack is a private pilot and has served for 16 years as Local Board Member of the Selective Service System. He and his wife, Jo, have two grown children, Terry and family in Pierre and John in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Richard Pearson was born in Madison, SD on May 27, 1949. He graduated from Salem Public High School in 1967 and from SDSU with a BS in Animal Science in 1972. Richard bought a farm in Lake County in 1973 and was engaged in farming until 1993. At that time he earned a South Dakota Real Estate License. Since 1996 he has been part owner of Tailgator's Sports Bar and Restaurant which is located in Brandon, SD. Richard and his wife Christy have 5 children. Three step-daughters-Shannon, Stephany & Alex as well as daughter, Brittany and son, Landon. Richard has been flying since 1969 and at present flies an RV-3A and an RV-6A, both of which he built. He holds a FFI formation flight card for wing and flight lead, which is required for formation flight in air shows. He has been flying with the Vanguard Squadron promoting ethanol since 1993. Richard is a member of Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), South Dakota Pilots Association (SDPA), MAAC, FFI, and Madison Aviation Enthusiasts.

Larry Vetterman Larry Vetterman – Appointed January 29, 2001

Larry was born in Iroquois, South Dakota, 1949. He obtained private, commercial, and flight instructor ratings while attending Augustana College and also holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate and airframe mechanics rating. Larry entered U.S. Army Fixed Wing Warrant Officer flight training program and graduated distinguished graduate of class 71-03. He served one year tour of duty in Vietnam, spent 8 years as corporate pilot, and has 20 years of service with the U.S. Department of Agriculture as a pilot. Larry currently owns an aircraft exhaust manufacturing business. Larry is a member of Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) and the South Dakota Pilots Association (SDPA).
