- Collects paperwork and enters supply information pertaining to receipts, issues, and transfers

- HOW MUCH did it cost?

Surplus Procedures
1. Surplus Supply assets of items that:
- have reached their shelf life expiration date
- are no longer used by SDDOT
2. Region Storeroom will coordinate
3. Unit or Shop processes a DOT-171 Warehouse Transfer Form / Send items to Region Storeroom
Sign Ordering Procedures
Maintenance & Sign Shops
1. Send sign order requests to Region Traffic Engineers
Region
1. Region Traffic Engineers consolidate orders and forward them to Pheasantland Industries, Sioux Falls, SD
Pheasantland Industries
1. Collects orders and produces signs. Region orders received by 12:00pm every Thursday are made that week.
2. Forwards email shipping documents to key personnel every Friday for signs made from orders received by 12:00pm every Thursday.
3. Sioux Falls Traffic Crew pick up finished signs the following Tuesday and store them in the traffic shop.
Central Office Internal Services Program
1. Delivery driver picks up new signs at Sioux Falls Traffic every Wednesday and delivers them to Region Parts Rooms or Sign Shops.
2. Internal Services receives email shipping documents and text file transfers every Friday from Pheasantland Industries.
3. Internal Services processes finished signs into maintenance or traffic shop inventories every Monday.
4. Internal Services provides updated inventory reports to Maintenance and Traffic Shop every Wednesday.
* Signage quantities on inventory may not reflect the physical on hand quantities due to a delay of sign deliveries from driver.
Maintenance Shops
1. Coordinate pick up of finished signs at Region Parts Rooms or Sign Shops
