NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING / OPEN HOUSE
FOR
I-90/I-229 INTERCHANGE CORRIDOR PRESERVATION STUDY
DRAFT INTERCHANGE JUSTIFICATION REPORT
AND
DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSSMENT MINNEHAHA COUNTY
I-90 from Exit 399 (Cliff Avenue) to Exit 402 (478th Avenue / Timberline Avenue)
I-229 from Exit 9 (Benson Road) to Exit 10 (I-90)
476th Avenue from I-229 to 72nd Street North


The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) will hold an open house style public hearing to discuss and receive public input on the draft final reports for the above corridor preservation study. The open house will be informal, with one on one discussion available with SDDOT, & Consultant staff.

Between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., SDDOT, City & Consultant staff will be available with displays to discuss the proposed study and answer your questions. During this time, you will also have the opportunity to present written comments. A short presentation will be given at 6:15 pm.

A concurrent open house public hearing will also be held on the I-29 Corridor Study.

Notice is further given to individuals with disabilities that this open house/public hearing is being held in a physically accessible place. Please notify the SDDOT ADA Coordinator at least 48 hours prior to the open house/public hearing if you have special needs for which this agency will need to make arrangements. The telephone number for making special arrangements is 605-773-3540 or 1-800-877-1113 (Telecommunication Device for the Deaf).All persons interested in this study are invited to attend this hearing/open house to share your views and concerns, any time between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
