Call 7/3/2008 Transportation Commission Conf Call TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION MEETING July 3, 2008 PIERRE, SOUTH DAKOTA PRESENT: Sam Tidball, Member Absent: John Kranz, Member Bob Benson, Member Via Phone: Jerry Shoener, Chairman Ralph Marquardt, Vice Chairman Dick Gregerson, Member Rod Fouberg, Member Jim Spies, Member Mike Trucano, Member Others in Attendance: None DOT Staff: Bill Nevin and Jean Morris. Chairman Shoener called the meeting to order at 9:01 a.m. ********* Bill Nevin, Legal Counsel, requested the Commission consider the of appointment of a hearing examiner for the hearing on DME's Application For Authority to Exercise Eminent Domain. Former Chief Justice Robert A. Miller was nominated. Motion by Spies, seconded by Shoener, to appoint Chief Justice Miller as hearing examiner for the hearing on DME’s Application For Authority to Exercise Eminent Domain. Motion carried (all ayes). ********* There being no further business, at the hour of 9:08 a.m. the conference call for the Transportation Commission adjourned.
