Completion of I-90 Exit 52 Work

RAPID CITY, S.D.  – The South Dakota Department of Transportation began completing remaining work on the Interstate 90 Exit 52 project near Rapid City on Sept. 4.

Lane closures were put in place on I-90 in the eastbound and westbound lanes so median crossovers can be removed, pavement markings installed, and seeding operations completed. 

This work should be completed within two weeks.

The overall completion date for the project is Sept. 28.

The prime contractor on the $4.4 million project is Heavy Constructors, Inc.
