I-90 And I-229 Interchange Ramps Open

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Transportation is advising motorists that all interchange ramps on Interstates 90 and 229 in Sioux Falls are again open to traffic.

T&R Contracting, Inc. of Sioux Falls has completed reconstruction of the ramps and I-90 eastbound through the I-229 interchange.

Travelers should be aware that I-90 westbound is still restricted to one lane of traffic at the I-229 interchange while minor cleanup and guardrail work is completed.

It is expected that westbound I-90 traffic through the I-229 interchange will be restored to full roadway width next week.

The substantial completion date for the project is Sept. 28.
