Highway 12 Opening Between Groton And Bath 

ABERDEEN, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Transportation says the westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 12 between Groton and Bath will reopen sometime this evening (Thursday, Nov. 1).

Eastbound traffic will remain limited to one lane while the contractor makes repairs to the inside shoulder.

Motorists can also expect temporary lane closures in the westbound lanes while the contractor removes the cross-overs at each end of the project.

Motorists are urged to use caution and reduce speed in that area.
