            Portion of I-229 To Be Closed For a Short Time Wednesday Evening

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Grangaard Construction, in conjunction with the South Dakota Highway Patrol, will close the northbound lanes of Interstate 229 between Interstate 29 and Louise Avenue in Sioux Falls on Wednesday, Dec. 11, at 8:20 pm. CST.

The closure is expected to last 10 minutes and will allow some large equipment to cross the highway.

Traffic though the area will be diverted using Louise Avenue and Interstate 29. 

The work is being done in conjunction with the I-229 Solberg-Tallgrass overpass project.

Overall completion date for the $6.25 million project is Aug. 17, 2013.
