 Construction To Begin on Highway 12 & Highway 1804 in Mobridge

 

MOBRIDGE, S.D. – Beginning Monday May 20, work began on Highways 12 and 1804 in Mobridge, according to the South Dakota Department of Transportation.

 

The project includes asphalt concrete resurfacing, replacement of curb and gutter & sidewalks, ADA upgrades, lighting and drainage improvements of 3.9 miles of Highway 12 from the Missouri River Bridge to Airport Road and  Highway 1804 from the Grand Crossing in Mobridge north 'for 2.4 miles.

 

On Monday, the outside lane of eastbound traffic from Main Street to Airport Road will be closed to accommodate curb and gutter and sidewalk work. Eastbound traffic will be carried in one lane while westbound traffic will be unchanged.

 

The work is expected to be completed by October.

 

The prime contractor on this $5.6 Million project is McLaughlin and Schulz, Inc. of Marshall, Minnesota.
