Repair Work To Begin On Structures in Sioux Falls

 

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Starting Monday, June 10, the South Dakota Department of Transportation will begin structure repair work on the Interstate 29 interchanges at Benson Road and Madison Street in Sioux Falls.

 

Work will begin on the northbound and southbound structures at the I-29 and Madison Street interchange, then move to the I-29 and Benson Road interchange.

 

Traffic will be reduced to one lane each direction and a speed limit of 55 mph through the work zone.

 

The prime contractor for the $1.8 million project is Heavy Constructors Inc. of Rapid City and the completion date is Oct. 18.
