Cliff Avenue Closure In Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – On Monday July 29, at 7 p.m., T&R Contracting will be closing the Interstate 90 and Cliff Avenue interchange in Sioux Falls until 6 a.m. the next morning, according to the South Dakota Department of Transportation.

The closure will be repeated on Tuesday evening (July 30) at 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. Wednesday morning (July 31).

The closure is needed so the contractor can remove the existing eastbound I-90 structure over Cliff Avenue.

The interchange ramps will remain open to traffic, but Cliff Avenue will be closed to thru traffic at the I-90 overpass bridge.

Motorists will be required to find an alternate route during the closure.

The work is part of the $17. 4 million Interstate 90 and Cliff Avenue interchange project. The prime contractor is T&R Contracting, Inc. of Sioux Falls; the interim completion date is Nov. 8.

Complete road construction information is available at www.safetravelusa.com/sd or by dialing 511.
