I-29 Exit 127 To Close For One Week

BROOKINGS, S.D. – The southbound Interstate 29 Exit 127 on-ramp and off-ramp will be closed for approximately one week beginning Monday, June 29, to allow crews to pave the Interstate lanes past the ramp locations.

Traffic is encouraged to take an alternate route and signing will be in place to alert motorists of the closures.

The prime contractor for the $14.5 million dollar project is PCiRoads from St. Michael, Minnesota. Bowes Construction, Inc. from Brookings is doing the pavement removals and grading work.
