I-29 Exit 133 To Close At Brookings

BROOKINGS, S.D. – The southbound on-ramp and off-ramp at Exit 133 on Interstate 29 will be closed for approximately 12 days beginning Thursday, Aug. 8, according to the South Dakota Department of Transportation.

The closure is needed to allow crews to pave the on- and off-ramps at this exit.

Motorists will need to find and alternate route and should be aware of changes in traffic patterns, construction equipment and workers.

The prime contractor for the $14.5 million dollar project is PCiRoads from St. Michael, MN. Bowes Construction, Inc. from Brookings is doing the pavement removals and grading work.

For complete road construction information, visit www.safetravelusa.com/sd or dial 511.
