Traffic Changes on I-90 and Cliff Avenue Interchange in Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – On Wednesday, Oct. 30, after 1 p.m., traffic on Cliff Avenue in Sioux Falls will be switched from two-way traffic in the northbound lanes to one lane in each direction in the new northbound and southbound lanes.

After 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31, traffic on Interstate 90 in Sioux Falls will be switched from two-way traffic in the westbound lanes to one lane of traffic in each direction in the new westbound and eastbound lanes.

The lane closures are needed for the contractor to complete miscellaneous work in the adjacent lanes of Cliff Avenue and I-90.

Motorists should expect delays through the construction area and stay alert for workers, equipment, lane closures, lane shifts and sudden slowing of traffic.

The work is part of the $17. 4 million Interstate 90 and Cliff Avenue interchange project, which has an interim completion date of Nov. 8. The prime contractor is T&R Contracting, Inc. of Sioux Falls.

Complete road construction information can be found at www.safetravelusa.com/sd or by dialing 511.
