I-29 Between Summit and Peever Now Open

SUMMIT, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Transportation announces the Interstate 29 southbound lanes between Summit and Peever are now open and the local traffic detour has been removed.

The current lane closures at the Peever and Wilmot Exits will remain in place until later this week while the ramp crossovers are removed and guardrail and embankment restoration work is completed at these locations.

Weekly meetings will no longer be conducted as the roadway is open with only miscellaneous items of work remaining.

For additional information regarding the project, please contact Michael Will at mike.will@state.sd.us or by phone at 605-882-5166.

For complete road construction information, visit www.safetravelusa.com/sd or dial 511.
