190/Silver Street Construction Project Open House

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Transportation will hold a public open house to provide citizens an update on the I-190/Silver Street construction project in Rapid City on Thursday, March 9, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
The meeting will be held at the Howard Johnson hotel located at 950 North Street in Rapid City. The public is invited to attend.
DOT, city, consultant and contractor staff will discuss construction progress, upcoming planned road closures and the overall project schedule. They will also be available to answer questions.
This is the second phase of a two-year project to reconstruct the interchange and about one-mile of I-190.
The overall substantial completion date of this project is July 28, 2017.
Reede Construction of Aberdeen is the prime contractor on this $34 million project.
