SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – On Thursday, Sept. 14, the South Dakota Department of Transportation will be closing the northbound entrance ramp at Interstate 29 from westbound Russell Street (Exit 81) in Sioux Falls to complete pavement repairs on this ramp.

The entrance ramp will be closed Thursday and Friday (Sept. 14-15), while crews complete the work.

Motorists will need to find an alternate route during this time frame.

Motorists are asked to be aware of suddenly slowing and merging traffic, as well as construction workers and equipment adjacent to the driving lane.

The prime contractor for the $3.1 million project is Diamond Surface, Inc. of Rogers, Minnesota.
