SPEARFISH, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Transportation says crews will be installing a 110-foot traffic signal system on the bridge at I-90 Exit 14 in Spearfish tonight (Nov. 3).

This work was originally scheduled to take place on Oct. 25.

One-lane traffic on the bridge will be maintained by flaggers during this operation.

Motorists are asked to slow down through the work zone, be on the lookout for flaggers, suddenly slowing, merging and stopped traffic, and construction workers and equipment entering, exiting, and adjacent to the roadway.

Heavy Constructors, Inc., of Rapid City is the prime contractor on this $28 million project. The overall completion date for the project is June 1, 2018.
