Department of Transportation Seeks Public Input into the Vermillion Master Bicycle Plan Study

VERMILLION, S.D. - The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT), in collaboration with the city of Vermillion, will hold a public open house on Monday, Sept. 10, on the draft Vermillion Master Bicycle Plan.


This open house public meeting will be held beginning at 5:30 p.m. CDT in the Council Chamber of the Vermillion City Hall at 25 Center Street. The purpose for the open house is to present the study’s draft recommendations and to record any concerns the public may have regarding those recommendations.


For those who cannot attend the meeting or would like additional information on the study, information will be made available online a few days after the meeting at www.rdgusa.com/sites/bikevermillion.


The open houses will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the locations indicated. A brief, summarizing presentation will be made at approximately 5:45 p.m. The open house will allow discussion with SDDOT, city and consultant staff.


Notice is further given to individuals with disabilities that this open house meeting is being held in a physically accessible place.
