Traveler Information / Temporary Route Restrictions

The following temporary restrictions are based on the information available at the time
of preparation.  They are provided solely as a public service.  Actual conditions may 
vary from those reported.

DT: 07/01/09

US12/US83 - from Jct US83 north of Selby to 2.5 miles south of Selby - 20'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be in
effect until approximately July 3, 2009.

US14/US83/SD34 Missouri River Bridge at MRM 228.35 between Pierre and Fort Pierre - No Overweight Loads - until further notice. 
The overweight detour route will be SD 1806, SD 204 and SD 1804 across the Oahe Dam.

US 14 - MRM 302 to MRM 321 - Miller to east of Wessington - 16'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be in effect until
approximately September 15, 2009.

US 14 - MRM 363 to MRM 392 - Iroquois to east of Lake Preston - 16'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be in effect until
approximately September 15, 2009.

US 14A - from MRM 42.00 to MRM 49.00 - Boulder Canyon - 16'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will begin on June 29, 2009 and
be in effect until approximately July 13, 2009.

SD 17 - MRM 52.00 to MRM 55.79 - Jct SD 42 south - Road Closed to through Traffic - The restriction will be in effect until approximately
October 30, 2009. Local traffic only - Detour provided. 

US 18 - MRM 446.67 to MRM 448.44 - Jct SD 11 east to Cedar Street in Canton - 12'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be
in effect until approximately July 15, 2009.

SD 19 - MRM 4.4 to MRM 5.0 - Through the City of Vermillion - 10'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be in effect until
approximately October 1, 2009.

SD 20 - MRM 297.0 to MRM 332.0 - Jct SD 45 to Brentford - 16'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be in effect until
approximately July 4, 2009.

I-29 - MRM 38.0 to MRM 47.0 - Head to Head traffic in the Southbound Lanes - 16'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be
in effect until approximately November 1, 2009.

I-29 - MRM 95.35 to MRM 96.55 - Northbound Lanes - 12'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be in effect until approximately
July 15, 2009.

I-29 - MRM 110.1 to MRM 124.1 - Head to Head traffic in the Southbound Lanes - 11'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will
be in effect until approximately October 31, 2009. Overwidth Detour provided.

I-29 - MRM 193.0 to MRM 207.0 - Head to Head traffic in the Northbound Lanes - 12'- 0" Width Restriction - The restrcition will be
in effect until approximately October 30, 2009. Overwidth detour provided.

SD 34 - from I-29 to SD 13 - Road Closed to Through Traffic - The restriction will begin on April 20, 2009 and be in effect until
approximately November 6, 2009.  Detour route on SD 13 and SD 32.

SD 44 - MRM 88.0 to MRM 107.5 - Scenic to Conata Basin Road - 16'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be in effect until
approximately July 24, 2009.

SD 44 - MRM 146 to MRM 155 - Wanblee to Jct SD 73 - 16'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be in effect until approximately
JUly 2009.

SD 44 - Platte/Winner Bridge - 10'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will begin on May 11, 2009 and be in effect until
approximately July 17, 2009. Overwidth Detour provided.

SD 44 - MRM 330.54 to MRM 348.30 - from south Jct of US 281 to Jct SD 37 - 16'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be in
effect until approximately July 17, 2009.

SD 47 - at MRM 89.70 - No Overweight Loads until further notice - This bridge is between Big Bend Dam and Fort Thompson over 
Soldier Creek.

SD 50 - MRM 388.0 to MRM 396.7 - Head to Head traffic in the Westbound Lane for 5 miles and in the Eastbound Lanes for 3 miles - 
14'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be in effect until approximately October 31, 2009.

SD 50Loop - Cherry Street in Vermillion - MRM 408.7 to MRM 411.3 - 10'- 0" Width Restriction - Traffic maintained head to head
on the bypass road adjacent to Cherry Street - The restriction will be in effect until approximately October 30, 2009.

SD 79 - MRM 129.71 to MRM 130.03 - south of Jct Us 212 - 17'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be in effect from June 1, 2009
to approximately July 17, 2009.

US 81 - MRM 156.08 to MRM 157.00 - from US 212 north to 3rd Ave. in Watertown - Road Closed to Through Traffic - The restriction will 
be in effect until approximately October 15, 2009. Detour route provided on city streets. No overwidth or overweight loads allowed
on detour route.

US 83 - MRM 232.8 to MRM 233.8 - Through the City of Herreid - 16'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be in effect until
approximately October 30, 2009. 

I-90 - MRM 27.00 to MRM 33.00 - Head to Head Traffic in the Westbound Lanes - 12'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be in
effect until approximately July 24, 2009.

I-90 - MRM 49.5 to MRM 52.5 - Eastbound and Westbound Lanes - 12'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be in effect until
approximately July 23, 2009.

I-90 - MRM 142 to MRM 149 - Eastbound and Westbound Lanes - 16'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be in effect until
approximately June 5, 2009.

I-90 - MRM 176 to MRM 187 - Eastbound and Westbound Lanes - 16'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will begin on June 1, 2009 and
be in effect until approximately August 1, 2009.

I-90 - MRM 198 to MRM 211 - Eastbound and Westbound Lanes - 16'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be in effect until
approximately June 1, 2009.

I-90 - MRM 198 to MRM 211 - Head to Head traffic in the Eastbound Lanes - 12'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will begin on
June 1, 2009 and be in effect until approximately July 17, 2009.

I-90 Loop - Old Chamberlain Bridge over Missouri River - No Overweight Loads.

I-90 - MRM 284.0 to MRM 297.5 - Kimball to White Lake - Eastbound and Westbound Lanes - 16'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will
be in effect until May 12, 2009. Beginning May 13, 2009 - 10'- 0" Width Restriction. Overwidth Detour provided.

I-90 - MRM 297.5 to MRM 319.0 – White Lake to Mt. Vernon – Head to Head traffic in the Eastbound Lanes – 10’0” Width Restriction – Westbound
on and off ramps at Exit 308 closed - The restriction will be in effect until approximately October 31, 2009. Overwidth Detour provided.

I-190 - MRM 0.00 to MRM 1.44 - Southbound Lanes - in Rapid City - 18'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be in effect until further
notice.

US 212 - MRM 0.00 to MRM 7.92 - 11'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will begin on June 1, 2009 and be in effect until approximately
July 25, 2009.

US 212 - from Nisland to north of Jct SD 79 - 17'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will in effect from June 1, 2009 to approximately
July 17, 2009.

US 212 - from south jct of SD 79 to north Jct of SD 79 - 17'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be in effect until approximately
July 3, 2009.

US 212 - from Redfield to Jct SD 45 - Road Closed to Through Traffic - The restriction will begin on April 20, 2009 and be in effect
until approximately July 31, 2009. Detour route on US 281, SD 26 and SD 45.

I-229 - from Jct I-90 south to Benson Road - Southbound Lanes - 12'- 0" Width Restriction - Northbound Lanes - Closed to through Traffic - Detour
provided on Benson Road and Cliff Avenue - The restriction will be in effect until approximately October 15, 2009.

SD 248 - Jct SD 73 north to Jct SD 73 south - MRM 155.51 to MRM 162.44 - 8 Tons Axle - The restriction will be in effect until further
notice.
