A new series of regression equations for estimating peak flows on streams in South Dakota
is available in USGS Report 98-4055, TECHNIQUES FOR ESTIMATING PEAK-FLOW MAGNITUDE AND
FREQUENCY RELATIONS FOR SOUTH DAKOTA STREAMS. These equations were developed from the USGS
stream gauging data and include over fifteen additional years of stream flow data since
the last regression equations were developed. Design Consultants can contact the USGS
