SDDOT / Road Design / Mission Statement We design and prepare quality construction plans for a safe and efficient transportation system. A major portion of what the Road Design Office produces are construction plans for Grading, Signal, Lighting, Pavement Marking and Erosion Control, however many other services are provided: ROW Plans and Plats Construction Plan Reviews Design Maintenance & Distribution Design, Survey and CADD Manuals Standard Plates Standard Plan Notes Survey Data and Training Computer Applications Development and Support Consultant Contracting, Monitoring and Guidance
