I-90 Kimball to White Lake - East & West bound lanes
What is being built?
Westbound and Eastbound lanes are to be resurfaced with asphalt concrete on Interstate 90 between Kimball and White Lake - MRM 284 to MRM 297. The existing concrete pavement will remain and an asphalt overlay will be placed to preserve/prolong the life of the pavement and provide a smoother ride. On this project there are twin structures at both Kimball and Platte Creek that are under repair and each will be maintained with an epoxy deck chip seal.

Traffic Affects
I-90 - MRM 284.0 to MRM 297.5 - Eastbound and Westbound Lanes - Kimball to White Lake - Beginning May 13, 2009 the restriction will be reduced to - 10'- 0" Width Restriction. The restriction will be in effect until approximately October 31, 2009. Traffic are maintained through the work areas utilizing lane closures. Speed limits are reduced to 65 mph except in the immediate areas of work where they will be 45 mph.
