Traveler Information / Temporary Route Restrictions

The following temporary restrictions are based on the information available at the time
of preparation.  They are provided solely as a public service.  Actual conditions may 
vary from those reported.

DT: 09/02/08

US14/US83/SD34 Missouri River Bridge at MRM 228.35 between Pierre and Fort Pierre - No Overweight 
Loads - until further notice. The overweight detour route will be SD 1806, SD 204 and SD 1804 
across the Oahe Dam.

US14/US83/SD34 - Missouri River Bridge between Pierre and Fort Pierre - 10'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction
will be in effect until approximately October 31, 2008. Overwidth detour route will be SD 1806, SD 204 and SD 1804 
across the Oahe Dam.

US 14 - from Jct US 83 east to east of Blunt - 16'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be in effect until
approximately October 31, 2008.

US14/US281 - Jct north of Wolsey - US14 west MRM 326.20 to MRM 326.39 - US281 north MRM 124.25 to 125.25 - 
10'- 0" Width Restriction - 105'- 0" Length Restriction - The restriction will begin on May 12, 2008 and be in effect until
approximately August 29, 2008.

US14/US281 - Through the City of Wolsey - 11'- 0" Width Restriction - 105'- 0" Length Restriction - The restriction will
begin on April 22, 2008 and be in effect until approximately November 30, 2008.

US14A - Cheyenne Crossing - from Jct US85 north - 11'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be in effect until
approximately October 1, 2008.

SD 20 - MRM 66.0 to MRM 78.0 - between Prairie City and Bison - 12'- 0" Width Restriction - No Overweight Loads - The
restriction will be in effect until approximately November 2, 2008.

SD 25 - Through the City of Scotland - MRM 20.16 to MRM 21.09 - Closed to Traffic - Traffic maintained on detour on city
streets - 10'- 0" Width Restriction on detour route - The restriction will be in effect until approximately
October 15, 2008.

I-29 - from south of Exit 140 to north of Exit 150 - MRM 139.8 to MRM 151.7- Head to Head traffic in the Southbound
Lanes - 12'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will begin on April 23, 2008 and be in effect until approximately
October 31, 2008.

I-29 - bridge structures near Exit 213 - MRM 212.29 to MRM 215.79 - 12'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be
in effect until approximately October 1, 2008.

SD 38 - from MRM 312.00 to MRM 321.20 - Hanson/McCook County Line west 9 miles - 16'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction
will begin on August 4, 2008 and be in effect until approximately September 5, 2008.

SD 44 - from MRM 50.0 to MRM 55.0 - East of Rapid City - Eastbound Lanes - 14'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be 
in effect until approximately October 15, 2008. MRM 53.1 to 54.3 - Westbound Lanes - 11'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction
will be in effect until approximately September 19, 2008.

SD 47  at MRM 89.70 - No Overweight Loads until further notice - This bridge is between Big Bend Dam 
and Fort Thompson over Soldier Creek.

SD 50 - MRM 351.24 - bridge structure 1/2 mile east of SD 37 - 10'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be in effect until
approximately September 26, 2008.

SD 50L - Cherry Street through Vermillion - 10'- 0" Width Restriction - Traffic maintained head to head in the
Eastbound Lanes - The restriction will begin on April 14, 2008 and be in effect until approximately November 25, 2008.

US 81 - Yankton Meridian bridge over the Missouri River at Yankton - No Overweight Loads - Northbound and Southbound Lanes - 
The restriction will be in effect until further notice.

US 83 - MRM 118.23 to MRM 118.76 - from 2nd Avenue south in Fort Pierre - 14'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will be
in effect until approximately October 31, 2008.

I-90 - from Exit 37 to Exit 40 - Eastbound Lanes Closed - Head to Head traffic maintained in the Westbound Lanes - 16'- 0" Width Restriction
 - The restriction will be in effect until approximately November 3, 2008.

I-90 - from 1 mile west of Exit 51 to 1 mile east of Exit 51 - Eastbound & Westbound Lanes - 12'- 0" Width Restriction - 125'- 0"
Length Restriction - The restriction will be in effect until approximately November 1, 2008. The overwidth detour route has a 
13'-10" Height Restriction.

I-90 - from Exit 235 to Exit 251 - Eastbound and Westbound Lanes - 12'- 0" Width Restriction - The restriction will
begin on April 8, 2008 and be in effect until approximately September 26, 2008. Overwidth Detour provided.

I-90 - from MRM 390.00 to MRM 397.45 - Head to Head Traffic in the Westbound Lanes - 11'- 0" Width Restriction - The
restriction will be in effect until approximately November 1, 2008. Overwidth Detour Provided.

I-90 Loop - Old Chamberlain Bridge over Missouri River - No Overweight Loads.

SD 134 - MRM 277.20 to 278.00 - Bridge Construction - Closed to Traffic - The restriction will begin on July 30, 2008
and be in effect until approximately October 15, 2008.

US 212 - MRM 282.05 to MRM 306.40 - from Orient corner to Redfield - Closed to Traffic - The restriction will begin on
June 9, 2008 and be in effect until approximately November 1, 2008. Detour route provided on US 281, SD 26 and SD 45.
